Over a Year Later

Am I so damned busy that I cant even write a little blog? Of course not. Good intentions pave a path straight to hell. Talking about hell...dont believe it for a second. It's all a bunch of hooey.

I remember the exact day I threw my then religious beliefs straight out the window. I was sitting in the pew with my Grandmother at the Baptist Church in Fort Barnwell, NC. I was not yet twenty and visiting Grandma from college for the weekend. The Pastor was lambasting the evils of being young and telling us how if we did this or did that we were all going end up in the fire and brimstone. He went on and on and in that moment, I decided that he was the one that was lost and the fact that he was touting this drivel was just sickening. The congregation was shaking their heads, "yes, Lord..fire and brimstone." I decided not be a bleeting lamb, blindly following the words of some old guy. I got up and walked out.

Thought for the Day...At least 1/2 of the world's population is not Christian. Does this mean that billions of people are going straight to hell because they have never heard of Jesus? I remember someone saying to me a long time ago..if you don't accept Jesus into your heart then you will go to hell. The little girl in Bangkok or the little boy in Bangalore who have never heard of Christianity...what about them? Or do they not count because they don't know?...Just saying.
